A: Yes sir, ought to work perfectly! This round's bullet has the flat nose profile a lever-action rifle needs to avoid accidental discharge in its tubular magazine, and Henry's rifles are built to handle all factory-loaded ammunition.

A: Sorry for our late response! It is our understanding that the Ruger Model 44 is constructed soundly enough to handle all modern 44 Magnum cartridges -- which in practice don't perform significantly differently from ammo you could have purchased during the Nixon administration. That said, the rifle's gas port is at risk of fouling and/or clogging as the result of firing unjacketed bullets. (This round's partially jacketed soft point shouldn't pose that problem.) We also understand that 240 grains is the preferred projectile weight for that rifle. Furthermore, flat point bullets are preferred for rifles with tubular magazines, if only because their profiles help to prevent a magazine discharge. (A round nose bullet really ought not to be capable of striking a primer, however.)
