A: Hello Mike,
This Prvi Partizan ammunition is loaded with a lead core, copper jacketed projectile that does not contain any steel. With no steel content in the projectile, you will have no issues with this passing a magnet test.

A: The 7.62 NATO is shorthand for the 7.62x51mm. While the name looks similar, the cartridges are quite different. This also applies to the popular 7.62x39. The 7.62x39, the x51 and x54r (seen above) are of different sizes and will not be interchangeable with each other. Our 7.62 NATO ammo may be found on our 308 Ammo page.

A: The 308 Win is a round loaded to a higher pressure than the 7.62x51 NATO round. Both of these rounds stand apart from the 7.62x54r round which will not be interchangeable. Unfortunately this ammo will not work in your 308 rifle. The most common application for this 7.62x54r ammo is found in the Mosin Nagant rifle.
