ProMag is all about giving shooters great value for low prices. This high-capacity (and therefore illegal in some places) magazine is made of robust heat-treated steel. Its surface is blued (i.e. finished with black oxide) to protect against corrosion (although it’s hardly as much protection as cerakote, or even parkerizing). The mag’s spring is made of chrome alloy, and heat treated to ensure it stays springy after having endured long periods of compression. The follower is injection-molded polymer (and, just to be very sure, not designed for 5.56 or 223).
