Under MD PUBLIC SAFETY § 5-134, it is illegal to sell or transfer ammunition for a regulated firearm to persons under 21 years of age. Therefore, Lucky Gunner requires all Maryland residents to verify their age prior to shipment. This may require you to provide us with a copy of your driver's license or other government issued photo ID showing your date of birth.
The State of Maryland also prohibits magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. Other than that, there are no unusual ammo laws at the state level in Maryland. Of course, all federal laws still apply.
Lucky Gunner is able to ship ammo to individuals 21 and older across the State of Maryland, with the exception of our friends in Friendship Heights Village and Takoma Park, where local regulations make it very difficult to ship ammo.
