Writer Profile: Mike Branson
Mike Branson has bounced around a lot. He built a lot of AKs with a class 2 manufacturer’s license back in the glory days of affordable parts kits. He was a lawyer at the same time, but eventually got over it. He’s been a gun writer and gunsmith, worked on oil rigs, and now works for Harley Davidson.
Never deployed anywhere, never in a real gunfight, this hasn’t stopped him from taking lots of shooting classes and even teaching other folks how to shoot. He loves studying the history of firearms development, and nothing makes him happier than taking something apart to see how it works. He’s always on the move and looking for the next adventure.
