A: Hello there Billy! That's the elegance of Hornady's LEVERevolution line of ammunition. This round's FTX bullet features what is known as the "Flex Tip." It successfully streamlines the bullet's frontal profile, but it is too soft to threaten accidential ignition inside a lever-action rifle's tube magazine. I really can't recommend a better 44 Mag lever gun hunting load, but any other JHP or SP ammo should serve you well.

A: Yes sir, absolutely! Only one aspect of this cartridge optimizes its design for use in a lever-action rifle: its supple polymer tip. This ensures that the pointed tip of the bullet cannot accidentally ignite the primer it butts up against while it is loaded inside a lever-action rifle's tubular magazine, and then proceeds to improve the bullet's accuracy while it is in flight. Naturally, your revolver doesn't have a tubular magazine. The only advantage you can expect from this ammo is better accuracy, which is never a bad thing in my book!

A: Yes sir, if your Henry fires 44 Magnum it can also fire 44 Special. LEVERevolution ammo is also designed specifically for lever-actions, so this ammo's a great choice.
