A: Thanks for reaching out Steven! This holster is designed for a 1911 Government, which has a 5" barrel. Sounds like you have an officer model. It will fit in this holster, but in all honesty that would kind of defeat the purpose of carrying a short-barreled 1911. The hard polymer holster's going to create a lot more bulk than you should have to put up with.
I'm not sure if you're interested in tucking your firearm beneath your waistband, but if you are then we've got just the holster for you: luckygunner.com/holster-inside-the-pants-blackhawk-right-hand-1911-officer. I have one like this for my snub nosed 38 and love it.

A: Yes sir, this holster's belt loop will accommodate a 2" duty belt just fine.

A: This should fit your 1911 of the correct length for this holster, including the rail. However, some attachments that mount onto the rail may not allow the pistol to holster and will need to be removed prior to holstering.
