In addition to federal restrictions on armor-piercing ammo, the State of Hawaii prohibits teflon-coated ammo and other armor-piercing ammo. The State also prohibits the sale and possession of pistol magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds. Additionally, all federal firearms and ammo laws apply in Hawaii.
