A Glock mag is exceedingly resilient, with a hardened steel insert protected by a crush and impact resistant polymer shell. (The shell is olive drab green in this case). Drop Glock’s mag a couple of stories onto bare concrete if you like. It’ll still be good.
This double stack mag’s spine is laid out in numbered windows, so you’ll be able to tell how many shots you have remaining at a glance (there’s a good chance you’ll lose count when you start out with 33 rounds). Glock’s steel spring retains its elasticity for a very long time – even if it’s left compressed – and their follower is orange so you can more easily tell when the mag is empty. This mag is designed to drop free regardless of which side your mag release button is on.
