A: Hi Tom! If your revolver is indeed chambered for 32 ACP, this ammo will work well in it. You may also be interested in our report on this very topic from last year: luckygunner.com/lounge/can-you-fire-32-acp-in-a-revolver/

A: That's a nice gift! Provided that your PPK is indeed chambered for .32 ACP (aka .32 Auto), this ammo would make a great option for personal protection. The Hydra-Shok was designed from the ground up for that singular purpose, and I personally load Hydra-Shoks in the revolver I carry for self-defense. Other premium self-defense bullets include Hornady's XTP, Speer's Gold Dot, and SIG Sauer's V-Crown. They all have features that make them unique, but again, the Hydra-Shok ranks right up there among the very best in my opinion. -Dave
