At first I was very mad about the ammo I bought I was getting a jam every 5 or 6 rounds. This was a new spikes tactical rifle and a new mag. Turns out the magazine was the problem and ran the next 150 roughly rounds with zero problem. At 100 yards I was in the two inching group ever time. But I'm not a snipers so i can't say it was me the gun or the ammo but i was happy with my buy. It shipped fast and was what I ordered.

Lucky Gunner has great service as before. 300 AAC Blackout is an expensive round to shoot. I've purchased American Quality Ammo due to the more affordable price. I have an AAC upper and my friend has a Stag AR chambered in the 300 AAC Blackout. Neither of us could group better than 7 inches at 100 yards shooting from the bench with American Quality Ammo, however, it was 100% reliable for the 300 plus rounds. We've also shot 150 gr Fiocchi that day through the same two rifles and obtained 3.5 inch groups from the bench, but tends to malfunction about 50 % of the time on the AAC upper and 20% from the Stag Rifle. The AAC malfunctions more with P-mags when firing Fiocchi. The American Quality Ammo is reliable, but not accurate with the two rifles listed above.

I bought the 250 round box of this ammo and initially was very pleased with the appearance. The brass looked good and the projectiles were bright and unblemished. However, once out on the range, it was a slightly different story. The performance of this ammunition is sketchy at best. At no point was I able to produce a consistent three shot group firing from both a benchrest and from the prone supported position. Two shots would be together and the third would be 4-5 inches away (at a range of no more than 30 meters). I loaded up some Hornady sub-sonics and produced a three shot group that all three were nearly touching. One positive thing I can say about this ammunition is that it cycles and feeds reliably. It is consistent enough that it will get you on paper, but other than that it is best used to have some fun blowing through ammo, and then reloading the brass.
