I purchased several different mfg. slugs for testing thru my Baretta 1301, 12 ga. The Remington slugs were by far the most accurate @ 20 and 30 feet distance. And much less expensive than all the others. Planning a return to the range and test them at 100 yards, which will be a stretch for that short barrel 1301. Fingers crossed they will hold true at center mass for 100 yards, So far this has become my go to 12 ga. Slug shell!

Tested these in wetpack from a snub nose but originally purchased for a 3 inch barrel revolver. These are made with really soft lead so they expand very well at low velocity. My test bullet was a perfect mushroom and went about 10 inches deep or so. Classic FBI load with proven real world stopping power.

Purchased for coyote hunting. In my opinion this bullet is too light for deer, but works well on coyotes unless preserving the hide is important. It will leave an impressive exit wound.t.

$1.00 per round is a good price these days. $1.70 per round is too rich for my blood.

I use this ammo in my Walther PPKS and it is always reliable. I never have had any problems with this ammo. It is a great choice for 22 LR shooters.

My go to ammo since 1991!!!
Review by Lane79
Ive been deer hunting in Michigan since 1991. I've used this ammo in Remington 742's, 700's and a few other rifles. I've lost count of how many deer I've shot, but there has been only 1 I've had to track more than 50 yards, and that was due to my poor shot placement. Most of my deer have been shot between 50 - 175 yards. I'm a Core-lokt customer for life.

This .357 ammo is great for self-defense or plinking. I've been using this load for years and it's on par with what a magnum load should be. The price is well worth it, I never bother with most of the FMJ range ammo on the market because it is just too weak. Rem UMC 125 gr SJHP and Underwood 158 gr JHP are the only .357 I use
