I just bought 50 rounds to get some breaking time with my new Barrett M82. I put a Nightforce NXS scope on it and wanted to make sure my scope was on. First round was Four inches low so I adjusted it then set the zero. Then I just shot the hell out of it tearing the bulls eye out of the target.
I noticed in the neck of two of the rounds there was a crack (looked machine made to me) I fired them with no problem. I might not reload them but I will run them and see after resizing them.
I will definitely buy more................. it was dirty and I tumbled it and cleaned it up, looks new now.

I purchased quite a bit of this ammo, about 150 rounds worth. It was visually like many products from lake city. Annealed and rather dirty. Not corroded by any means, Just Lake city ammunition in many different calibers seem to be dirty, spotted and oxidized in places. it did look like some had surface rust from MG links.
The ammunition comes with varied coloured primer sealant and appears to have neck sealant as well. Would make good long term storage ammo if paired with a water tight can. of which, Lining a standard 50 BMG can (like what Is sold here) with standard cardboard in single layer on all sides and the bottom, will allow you to fit about 135 rounds within.
I gave a brief inspection of each round as i loaded them into the can, and did notice a few had dents where the case necks down to the bullet. This may be a concern for some, but i dont think they will effect anything too poorly.
As for performance, well I got this for a plan to hold on too if i ever did get me a 50, so sadly i cannot comment there which is why i give it 3/5 for performance. It is standard M33 steel core ball ammunition though, so looking up how that performs should give you an idea.

Its M33, it just works. Its fairly accurate for a 50 round, and is consistent. Lucky Gunner is, as always, an absolute joy to work with and buy from. Highly recommended.
