As with the other review I found that my rifle did not like the Hornady 170gr American Whitetail. I had a round jam so hard I had to mortar it out. Took two tries. Needless to say the rifle is back at the manufacturer getting fixed, replaced or refunded. Thanks BCA.

Bought a couple boxes of this and it works reasonably well out of both my pencil barrel rifle and my AR pistol 10.5 inch. I haven’t shot any coyotes with it yet, but I’m assuming the hollowpoint will do a job on them. Really worth the price. Other ammo shoots more accurately, but this stuff is solid!

My xbolt target maxx loves this stuff. It’s 0.5MOA on multiple groups @100, and with no wind I have seen 0.8 MOA @ 1,000. No need for me to pay $2 a round, I’m not good enough to capitalize on anything better than this.

I took these to the range mostly because I was unsure and kind of skeptical of how they would operate in my Walther PPK, but after them cycling successfully not to mention hitting the 10 ring at the range plus seeing the ballistic video on LG, I do not feel unarmed carrying these bad boys in my beloved PPK.

This ammo is intended for rifles, not revolvers and Hornady bullets are velocity based. A hand gun bullet in a carbine would blow apart at rifle velocities while a rifle bullet, as here will not expand at all at the lower handgun velocities. While the ballistic co-founder efficient of the FTX is only marginally better than other 357 bullets, this is a tougher bullet and a better hunting choice for rifles

Lucky Gunner has great prices and service. This order surprised me when it arrived so quickly. ...and yes, Hornady ammo has never failed me regardless of which weapon I am firing it from. Thank you!

Out of my new production Charter Arms Bulldog, this has the lowest felt recoil and produced some pretty decent groups for a revolver amateur like myself. The recoil felt more tame than less expensive target ammo shockingly, I really recommend it.
