This is 9mm Makarov, which will not function in a Glock 19 or other 9mm firearm. Just like its name implies, the 9mm Makarov is a cartridge of Russian origin. The Soviets intentionally designed it so NATO forces couldn’t use it in their pistols.
MAXXTech ammunition is manufactured by Pobjeda Technology in the nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Very foreign – but there’s no need to worry about magnetism or corrosion.
• This round’s 92 grain full metal jacket projectile does not contain steel in its core or its jacket.
• This round’s lead styphnate Boxer primer does not produce hygroscopic residues, and will not cause rust.
This ammo is loaded with new brass cases. Consensus is that MAXXTech brass isn’t reloadable, as the case includes a little step to facilitate seating of the bullet at the factory. Maybe a really skilled handloader could pull it off if he had some time to kill, but we’re not recommending that you try!
