A: Thanks for reaching out Fermin! The Springfield XD-M is not rated for +P+ ammunition. According to Taurus, it is actually dangerous to fire 9mm +P+ in a G3c. As such I'd advise you to steer well clear of this particular ammo. Personally, I'd recommend Federal Premium's law enforcement grade standard pressure 9mm for either of your handguns – especially the Springfield you carry for personal protection: https://www.luckygunner.com/9mm-124-grain-jhp-hst-federal-premium-le-50-round. But if you are specifically looking for good self-defense ammo with a solid copper bullet, then both of your handguns are designed to safely fire Underwood 9mm +P 147gr XTP: https://www.luckygunner.com/9mm-147-grain-p-jhp-underwood-20-rounds

A: Thanks for reaching out Sean! Glock categorically advises against firing +P+ ammunition in their handguns. I personally don't expect this factory-loaded ammo would destroy your handgun, but I must defer to Glock and advise against firing it in a G43X. Even if it was safe, a +P+ load in a subcompact is going to produce some really strong recoil. So long as you stick to standard pressure or regular +P you're going to be safe.

A: Thanks for waiting, Sean! Here's Springfield Armory's official language regarding the use of overpressure ammunition:
Due to the fact that our entire line of XD/Hellcat pistols feature fully supported and ramped barrels, using +P and +P+ ammunition will not damage your pistol. However, we do recommend that you make sure the ammunition is American made and is in new condition (not repackaged or reloaded.) Due to the increased power of +P and +P+ ammunition, the cycling of your XD/Hellcat may be affected by this different ammunition. If you are planning to use +P or +P+ ammo, we recommend that you fire it extensively at the range before relying on it for concealed carry or self defense. It is important to ensure that it will run reliably in your XD/hellcat. Although +P and +P+ ammunition will not damage your XD/Hellcat, a steady diet of this higher power ammo may decrease the service life of the barrel and/or firearm.

A: Thanks for reaching out Sterling! Taurus strongly advises against ever firing +P+ ammunition in one of their firearms. This ammo could desroy your PT92 and cause serious injury to you.

A: Thanks for reaching out Ki! Kel-Tec does not advise the use of +P+ ammunition in any of their rifles. They don't recommend +P either, for that matter. I personally believe a SUB200 could handle 9mm +P just fine, but I must always defer to the manufacturer on such matters!

A: Thanks for reaching out! The M&P Shield 2.0 isn't rated for 9mm +P+. This ammo may not damage your firearm in very limited quantities, but I have to defer to S&W and also advise against firing it. You can certailly run 9mm +P through your handgun, though, so I hope you'll take a look at the other self-defense options we have in store!

A: No sir, your PX4 Storm is rated to safely fire 9mm +P+. But it will wear out your handgun's moving parts and barrel faster, so avoid extensive training with it!

By: Danny
A: Thanks for reaching out Danny! I took a look for you. Page 11 of the FN 509 manual says the handgun should not fire +P+ ammunition. On their website SIG Sauer says they do not recommend the use of any +P+ ammunition in their firearms.
Now, firearm manufacturers are never going to advise using +P+ ammo. That's because there is no industry standard for +P+, which means it could theoretically be so powerful that no handgun could safely fire it. That said, Underwood is a legitimate American ammo manufacturer – not some crazy handloader who's taking needless risks. For that reason I personally doubt that this 9mm +P+ ammo wouldn't function correctly in your SIG, which is a robust pistol. But as a reresentative of Lucky Gunner, I must agree with your firearms' manufacturers and advise against firing 9mm +P+.

A: Thanks for reaching out Victor! Page 44 of the Kimber Micro 9 manual explicitly warns not to fire 9mm +P+ ammunition:

+P ammo is okay, but these cartridges pose a very significant risk of destroying your handgun.

A: Thanks for reaching out! The USP is rated to safely fire 9mm +P+. (See page 6 paragraph 3 of the user manual: https://hk-usa.com/wp-content/uploads/USP-Operators-Manual-05312013.pdf) Although the VP9 is rated for +P, I cannot confirm in any of HK's literature that the handgun is rated to safely fire 9mm +P+. I would advise against it just to be safe.

By: Bryon
A: Thanks for reaching out Bryon! SIG does not recommend the use of any +P+ ammunition – firing this ammo in your P365 may void your warranty. This is not to guarantee that this 9mm +P+ ammo would damage your pistol, but I must defer to SIG in the matter. Your Uzi is designed for very hot ammunition like this, however! It has a pretty solid carrier and firing pin, so I don't expect this ammo will damage it, although it may accelerate wear and tear.

A: Hi David! I'd avoid firing 9mm +P and 9mm +P+ ammo in that weaon. You can read more about your Mac's recommended ammo here: mac-11.info/ammo.htm#1.
This isn't exactly premium stuff, but I believe your Mac will have a much better time firing it: luckygunner.com/9mm-124-grain-fmj-scorpio-50-rounds

A: Thanks for reaching out Terrence! This ammo could very well destroy a G2c. Page 23 of your weapon's instruction manual warns to never fire 9mm +P+. You can read more here if you like: taurususa.com/wp-content/uploads/manuals/Taurus_Manual_G2s.pdf

A: Hi Neal! I'd defer to the gunsmith on this one. I know ammo pretty well, but I expect he knows a lot more about the capabilities of the CZ P-10 C than I do. Just take care that CZ doesn't warranty +P+ ammo since SAAMI doesn't specify exact specs that it has to be loaded to, and also that overpressure ammo like this will shorten your pistol's lifespan. Also, this guy wrote a good article on the subject of 9mm +P+ ammo in a CZ if you're interested: czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=14691.0

A: No sir, Sig's P320 handguns are not designed to safely fire 9mm +P+. This ammo could destroy your handgun.
I regret that we haven't got 9mm ammo for your pistol in stock at the moment. Our inventory does update frequently, however, so I hope you will check in again soon to see how we can be of better help to you!

A: Hi David! I asked the manager of JP Enterprises for an answer to your question. He says this ammo is indeed suitable for your PCC, but it will be hard on the O-rings in the silent captured springs (SCS). If you're going to run a lot of this ammo, he advises that you make sure you have the all-tungsten SCS. If you'd only use this ammo for self-defense that shouldn't be a problem.

A: Hi Jeff! I wouldn't recommend this ammo for the XD-M. The heavy pressure it's loaded to could seriously damage your handgun.

A: No sir! Glock's 9mm pistols are not designed for 9mm +P+ ammunition. This ammunition could potentially destroy your handgun and even injure you. Please only use 9mm or 9mm +P in your pistol. I regret that this is the only 9mm ammo we have in stock at the moment, but we do update our inventory frequently. I hope you'll check back in again soon to see what we can do for you!

A: No sir, 9mm +P+ ammunition could very well destroy your handgun and injure you in the process. You'll be far happier with conventional pressure ammo like Federal's HST 9mm which we currently have in stock: luckygunner.com/9mm-147-grain-bonded-hp-speer-le-gold-dot-g2-50-rounds
