A: Thanks for reaching out Carlos! Inceptor actually addresses your exact question on their website:
With high-velocity comes another real concern: over-penetration. The ARX® is specifically designed to harness the forward energy and turn it into maximum damage to targets. The fact that the ARX® bullet stops within 16” of entering a properly calibrated 10% ballistics ordnance gelatin block means it is dumping 100% of its energy into its target, not innocent bystanders.

A: Thanks for reaching out Rick! This ammo isn't designed for max penetration. It's designed to inflict a wound cavity exactly like a hollow point bullet but without actually expanding. Without a nose cavity the ARX is less inclined to snag while feeding into the chamber, and it can't clog with debris such as heavy clothing during initial penetration. Its integral grooves actually engage soft tissue and jet it way in lateral directions, which produces a gaping wound channel that is highly effective for neutralizing a threat.

By: Marchella
A: Yes indeed Marchella, this ammo is designed to function correctly in all 9mm firearms. Its bullet is atypcial, but it's still 9mm ammo through and through!

By: Kurt Hanson
A: Thanks for reaching out Kurt! I believe that concern stems from the unique design of the ARX bullet, but this cartridge is in no way designed to perform differently from more traditional 9mm ammo. Inceptor loads ammo according to SAAMI specifications, so this ammo generates the correct chamber pressure to cycle a semi-automatic handgun. (Its bullet is lightweight, yet its turbo muzzle velocity still creates a conventional chamber pressure.) To that end, I suspect no reason why this ammo shouldn't perform flawlessly in an M&P Shield!

By: KELLY S CRINER
A: Thanks for reaching out Kelly! This ammo would indeed work correctly with a Px4 Storm. I don't belive you'll find it produces lower recoil, however. Its bullet is lightweight, but its 1,650 fps muzzle velocity is about 500 fps faster than the usual 115 grain bullet. That increased muzzle velocity will still produce more recoil.
We haven't got any low recoil 9mm self-defense ammo in stock at the moment. I wouldn't like you to wait for the ammo you need to defend yourself, so I'd recommend you search for this: Hornady 90240. That's Critical Defense Lite 9mm ammo, still very high quality and also designed to produce the lower recoil you're after. (I'm certain someone else has got it.)

A: Why certainly, so long as the P210 is chambered for 9mm. To my knowledge that pistol has also been made for 10mm and 22 LR, but if yours is a 9mm then this ammo should treat it just fine.

By: Chris E.
A: Thanks for reaching out Chris! Yes sir, I see no reason why this ammo should fail to function in any of those firearms. Its bullet is pretty unusual, but this is still 9mm self-defense ammo all the same.

A: Absolutely ma'am, there's no reason this ammo shouldn't function correctly with an LC9s.
