A: Hello again Celeste! Our selection is not as wide right now because of the ongoing ammo shortage. That said, we've still got a couple good options for self-defense in stock right now.

I recommended this ammo to you earlier. Its jacket is nickel-plated and its bullet profile are both optimized to promote smooth feeding in a semi-auto like your Glock 17. The bullet is a bonded jacketed hollow point, which means it reliably penetrates barriers and expands within soft tissue. It's a 9mm +P, which your Glock can fire, so it hits a little harder when it strikes a target. This ammo is often used by cops, and I'd have highly recommended it to you even if we had a lot of different ammo in stock at the moment.

Also very high quality ammo. This isn't +P ammo, and it's bullet is a little heavier, but realistically you're not going to see a great difference in reliability or terminal performance. I recommend this ammo as well, although if I had to recommend one over the other I'd personally choose the ammo by Speer.
