This 9mm cartridge is made by Winchester for professionals. While it may be true that no one’s paying you to defend yourself, the fact that you’ll do it for free doesn’t mean you deserve any less than the very best.

This Ranger T-Series load features a specially designed jacketed hollow point projectile. As it burrows through soft tissue, its precisely formed nose cavity peels back to erect knife-sharp cutting petals that tear an especially nasty wound channel behind them. This simultaneously exerts debilitating energy, while further helping to assure that overpenetration won’t jeopardize innocent bystanders.

This is a heavy 147 grain 9mm bullet. Its subsonic muzzle velocity is ideal if you’d screw a suppressor to the tip of your weapon, and its exceptional momentum means it’s able to inflict damage even deeper inside of a target.

This cartridge features a first run brass shell casing, designed to promote superlative feeding and extraction in pistol and rifle alike. Keep such a casing once it’s empty for yourself or someone else who handloads. Winchester’s propellant burns clean to deliver a steady muzzle velocity, and it’s lit by a non-corrosive primer.

Q: How likely is this blammo to remain subsonic through an 8" barrel ?

Q: Is this a brass casing or a nickel plated brass casing? The description says just "BRASS" but the pictures look nickle plated?
