SIG Sauer’s 9mm Elite Match ammunition wears two different hats. With its power factor between 126 and 132, this USPSA compliant low-recoil cartridge excels at providing the match accuracy which dominates at serious competitions. Buts its gentle felt recoil and superior accuracy also suits this ammo for self-defense applications – and an Elite Match load’s V-Crown projectile’s terminal ballistics excel at quickly neutralizing a threat as well!

This cartridge features SIG’s heavyweight 147 grain jacketed hollow point. The V-Crown takes its name from its unique V-shaped jacket skives, which strategically weaken the jacket to ensure reliable expansion even at lower velocities. The V-Crown’s hollow point nose cavity is also skived, thus assuring the JHP mushrooms outward fast and wide so it can inflict more damage to its target. The V-Crown’s toothed cannelure keeps its jacket and core firmly rooted together to ensure superior weight retention and resultant deep penetration.

This ammo’s premium brass cases wear thin nickel plating to promote smoother feeding and extraction in a semi-auto. Nickel is also naturally corrosion resistant, which will keep this ammo safer while it’s sitting in your EDC’s magazine. SIG developed this ammo with the aid of IPSC champions Max Michel and Lena Miculek!
