This round’s 124 grain total metal jacket bullet leaves a trail of bright green light in its wake. The bullet is not incendiary, and indeed it does not produce heat at all. The secret is the luminescent dot on the bullet’s base, which glows an emerald color when it picks up the light of the muzzle flash. (For best results fire at night or dusk, or at an indoor range.)
This ammunition is remarkably clean-shooting. The TMJ’s lead core is sealed in by its all-encompassing copper-alloy jacket, which prevents hot propellant gasses from aerosolizing heavy metal during ignition. Ammo Inc.’s own Hyperclean Technology significantly reduces propellant residue buildup as well. Ammo Inc.’s all-American ammo features noncorrosive Boxer primers and brass cases, so you can load your own non-glowing bullets back at HQ.
If you’re looking for range ammo to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with, then boy, have you ever found it!
