This cartridge is loaded with a 124 grain total metal jacket. In terms of accuracy and non-expanding terminal ballistics, the TMJ is virtually identical to the more conventional full metal jacket. But the TMJ does include one special feature that poses a couple of key benefits. Because its jacket completely shields the bottom of its solid lead core, the TMJ will not emit lead vapor during ignition. You’ll inhale measurably less lead gas, which is good for your health, and your firearm will also conserve its accuracy by accumulating less residue on its bore.
Ammo Inc.’s Hyperclean Technology complements the TMJ’s clean-shooting performance by minimizing the accumulation of uncombusted propellant. Their Wisconsin-made ammo also gives handloaders the new brass cases they need in order to practice their science.
