Norma’s ENVY line of ammunition is optimized to deliver superlative accuracy out of pistol caliber carbines. Whether you’re training with your carbine or showing off your skills to a judge, this ammo will indeed make you the envy of all those around you!

This target load’s 124 grain bullet is an FMJ – it feeds into the chamber like clockwork, prevents accelerated bore fouling, and flies straight, but it can’t expand within soft tissue. It is designed to offer a 1,345 fps muzzle velocity out of a carbine’s 17” barrel, after which point it will exhibit a 0.186 G1 ballistic coefficient. That means a very flat trajectory, as well as a bullet that shouldn’t become subsonic until about 100 yards out. Norma reports that this ammo lets a carbine consistently group within 1” at 50 yards.

Although this ammo is enhanced for ideal performance out of a carbine, it is not remotely inadequate for training and target shooting with a handgun. The primary difference you’ll notice is its lower muzzle velocity out of a handgun’s shorter barrel, which will be equivalent to other conventional 124 grain 9mm loads.

Norma manufactures this ammunition at their factory in Åmotfors, Sweden. It is loaded to match grade tolerances, and its highly consistent bullets are well taken care of by new brass cases, responsive Boxer primers, and uniformly loaded charges of clean burning propellant.
