This cartridge launches the 9mm’s middleweight 124 grain projectile. Its muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel is just barely supersonic at 1,150 fps, so you can reasonably anticipate subsonic performance out of a G43X or other subcompact with a shorter length barrel. The FMJ is of course the preferred bullet for target practice given its inexpensive design and inability to undergo terminal expansion. Federal is a Minnesotan company, and like any good American manufacturer they do not load magnetic pistol bullets.
Federal’s brass cases are great for handloading, and their primers and propellant are both engineered to minimize fouling. Whether you’re ordering ammo for a handgun or a PCC, this ammo hits the sweet spot!
