This round’s 115 grain jacketed hollow point bullet is designed to do one thing – neutralize a threat – and it does this exceedingly well. Nosler’s Sporting Handgun projectile possesses a form-fitted lead core and highly concentric copper jacket, two features which keep the bullet balanced for superior accuracy. The JHP’s jacket progressively tapers so it can promote and control uniform terminal expansion across a broad range of velocities.
This round’s brass case is plated with crack-resistant nickel. That glossy metal treatment helps the round to feed even more reliably, and helps the weapon to spit out the casing without jamming on it. Nickel also provides natural corrosion resistance, and is even easier to see in the dark! And speaking of seeing in the dark (which is very important to be able to do if you’re ever attacked in it), this round’s propellant is formulated to limit muzzle flash once ignited. No need to blind yourself on a bright muzzle flash if you ever have to stand your ground in the nighttime!
