A: Thanks for reaching out Scott! I regret that ammo manufacturers do not share that information, even with us. Truth is ZSR may load different types of propellant depending on the lot. I do know they make explosives in addition to ammo, so it's safe to assume they produced this ammo's propellant in-house. I wish I could be of greater help!

A: Interesting question Keith! The solution which immediately comes to mind is Fort Scott Ammunition, which loads their patented Tumble Upon Impact bullet. It's a solid copper bullet with a pointed nose profile that's designed to literally tumble around as it penetrates soft tissue. Its terminal ballistics are exceedingly effective for personal protection, and we have it in stock:

Alternatively, you may try Black Hills Ammunition's HoneyBadger ammo. The solid copper HoneyBadger bullet's lateral grooves engage with soft tissue and jet them outward to create a gaping permanent wound cavity. The HoneyBader's nose profile is blunter than the Tumble Upon Impact bullet's, however, so it may not be as promising a solution:

A: Thanks for reaching out Oliver! We haven't gotten any reviews yet for this ammo. In my experience it is not infallible – occasional FTFs and FTEs, but perfectly within the confines of what's acceptable for Turkish range ammunition! I personally believe ZSR's ammunition to be of higher quality than MaxxTech, but as you know either one is most suitable for target shooting.

A: Thanks for reaching out Franklin! The Px4 Storm Compact isn't an overly picky handgun – any mid- to -high-quality 9mm ammo should perform satisfactorily. That said, I have heard a few folks say that Speer Lawman 124gr TMJ ammo works especially well for target shooting: luckygunner.com/9mm-124-gr-tmj-speer-lawman-53651-50-round
And if you are going to go that direction, Speer Gold Dot 124gr JHP ammo would make an excellent choice for personal protection. It's designed to match the performance of the analogous Lawman target ammo very closely: luckygunner.com/9mm-124-grain-jhp-speer-gold-dot-50-rounds
