Sealed cans aren’t just great receptacles for delicious luncheon meat. They also keep ammunition fresh as the day it was made for ages, making them a must buy for preppers and anyone who knows what a bug out bag is.

This particular spam can is filled with something you might find of especial use during a catastrophe: 900 rounds of 9mm ammunition by Wolf. Based in Russia, Wolf utilizes steel shell casings that are not reloadable and may permit greater fouling of a pistol’s action, but which contain no valuable brass. Wolf treats their steel casings with heat-resistant polymer to reduce how much friction they create as they cycle through a semi-auto. This ammo performs even cleaner thanks to its non-corrosive Berdan primers.

Wolf saves their customers even more money by giving these rounds 115 grain bimetal jacket bullets. A bimetal jacket conveys the same benefits to performance as a conventional full metal jacket, but because it contains steel it is far more economical than a copper gilding metal jacket. That makes these rounds magnetic in the sense that many indoor ranges don’t care for, of course, so you may be better off using this ammo for backyard plinking. At least you can gather their shell casings with a magnet instead of stooping over!
