A: Good to hear from you Cameron! According to Wilson Combat, "the EDC X9 will typically function with any quality 9mm Luger (9×19 Para) ammunition with a power factor (bullet weight X velocity) greater than 125,000." This cartridge's power factor is 129,375, so you're all set there. I foresee no reason why your 1911's barrel should present any complications with this extremely normal 9mm FMJ ammo, either. I cannot guarantee flawless performance with a handgun I have not personally inspected, but on paper there's no reason why Blazer Brass shouldn't treat your handgun well!

A: No difference sir! Blazer just happened to name this generically packaged ammo "Training Ammunition," probably because they wanted to differentiate it from their more attractively packaged "Blazer Brass" label ammo. Like any other 9mm FMJ ammo, this stuff's perfect for plinking and target shooting.
