Want to enjoy some affordable target shooting – the kind you can only do without paying for brass? Blazer is famous for their aluminum shell casings, which are specially heat-treated to promote reliable cycling through any semi-automatic firearm!

This 9mm cartridge’s aluminum case is a whole lot more cost-effective than any brass one. But aluminum comes with a couple of caveats, the biggest being that you can’t reload it. These rounds’ aluminum cases won’t return to their original dimensions after ignition, so they can no longer seat new bullets. (Blazer actually loads their aluminum cases with non-corrosive Berdan primers to discourage handloading.) Aluminum cases are also nonmagnetic, so some ranges don’t like them. (They want to quickly sort their brass from their non-brass so they can sell it at the end of the day.)

This round’s 115 grain bullet is also nonmagnetic. The round nose full metal jacket is optimal for target shooting owing to its economical design, ability to feed without hesitation, and tendency to reduce barrel fouling. These American-made supersonic rounds will treat you to a pleasant balance of low recoil and flat trajectories, and they’re great for training with all pistols and carbines.
