Zero lead fouling in the barrel. Full compliance with laws that ban lead projectiles. Perfectly distributed weight that secures superior in-flight stability. All these boons go hand in hand with selecting a monolithic projectile like the HoneyBadger.
But how does the HoneyBadger work? Fairly simply, really. Its tip’s precision-machined grooves scoop up soft tissue and blast it outward in four lateral directions at velocities which can exceed that of the bullet itself. The HoneyBadger hasn’t got a nose cavity that could become ineffective as the result of clogging up with fabric. It also can’t undergo a failure to expand that could result in dangerous overpenetration. Quite the clever bullet indeed!
This is overpressure ammunition, with a 100 grain bullet that boasts 350+ ft lbs of striking energy at close range. Modern handguns and PCCs can handle 9mm +P just fine, but higher-than-standard chamber pressure can damage older firearms. Brass-cased and reloadable, and sure as shootin’ effective for varmint hunting as well!
