This Czech-made cartridge by Sellier & Bellot is loaded with a simple, non-expanding and accurate full metal jacket projectile, which ends in a ballistically efficient boat tail base. The FMJ does not contain steel; no need to worry about attracting a magnet when you go with good old S&B.
This round’s G1 ballistic coefficient is 0.509 (G7 0.256). If your rifle has the same 23.5” barrel that S&B used for ballistic testing, then you can expect your trajectory to a 200-yard target to pinnacle at approximately 3.07”. We’re sure you already know this, so please forgive us for reiterating that the FMJ isn’t a hunting bullet.
S&B is foreign, but they assemble ammo with the same kinds of components as the big names right here in America. They’ve got your noncorrosive Boxer primers. They’ve got your virgin brass cases. In other words, when you order S&B, you’ll get reloadable ammo!
