This is Sellier & Bellot's Soft Point Cutting Edge round and is designed for use in a 7x57R (Rimmed) rifle. The SPCE is a semi-jacketed bullet with a cut-trough edge in the jacket which partially locks the lead core. The bullet effect depends on the target resistance – it gets deformed in light game to a lesser extent than in heavy game. This round is appropriate for cloven-hoofed game hunting.
