Q: I purchased 6 boxes of PRVI psp bt 174 grain in 7 mm mag. I need to know what is the BC for this ammo.

A: Thanks for reaching out Leo! I got these data from PPU’s website (converted to imperial):

Muzzle velocity: 2,772 fps (24” barrel)
Velocity @ 328 yds: 2,244 fps

From that I calculate:

G1: 0.549
G2: 0.276

Assuming:

Temp: 59.0 °F
Pressure: 29.92 in Hg
Humidity: 0.0 %
Altitude: 0.0 ft

A: Hello David, The 174 grain 7mm Rem Mag has a muzzle velocity of 2,770 fps and a muzzle energy of 2,964 ft. lbs.
