This 7mm Rem Mag cartridge features Sierra’s newest hunting bullet: the GameChanger. It’s perhaps somewhat unfairly called the “Tipped GameKing,” but we believe the GameChanger brings enough to the table to deserve its own distinctive name.
Before this hunting round’s 150 grain bullet can kill its target, it first has to get there. This the GameChanger takes care of with its impressive ballistic coefficient – the joint product of its profile’s sleek ogive, boat tail that significantly reduces drag, precision molded polymer tip, and precise jacket concentricity.
The GameChanger’s green tip actually extends halfway down within its durable alloyed lead core. The tip doesn’t connect with the base of the core’s cavity until the instant following impact, giving it greater energy with which to initiate wide expansion. The GameChanger’s mushroom pattern is kept in check by a fine-tuned jacket, which also promotes weight retention and thus deeper penetration.
