The .30 cal? Not for you. You’re a refined, sophisticated, and all around superior .284” kind of guy – and naturally, that means you prefer Remington’s famously versatile and accurate 7mm Rem Magnum.

This cartridge features the venerable Core-Lokt projectile. It is the less common albeit more ballistically efficient pointed soft point version of the Core-Lokt, which uses a streamlined meplat to appreciably reduce in-flight drag. Once it attains its 3,175 fps muzzle velocity, the 140gr 0.390 G1 BC PSP conserves over 1,000 ft lbs of energy until it coasts beyond 630 yards.

The Core-Lokt’s jacket is physically anchored to its alloyed lead core. It’s not bonded, but it’s still rugged enough to poke a long and effective wound channel into a buck. The Core-Lokt can double its diameter if it expands under optimal conditions – but even if it falls short of 2X, its terminal expansion is decisive to say the least.

Remington’s Core-Lokt has toppled countless medium game animals since its introduction in 1939. Today Remington partners up their most popular hunting bullet with a premium reloadable brass case and extremely clean-burning propellant.
