Affordable, efficient, and deadly--Winchester Deer Season XP ammunition is the perfect choice to put venison on the table and a trophy on the wall. These cartridges fire a special high-diameter polymer-tipped bullet specially designed to bring down mule, blacktaill, and whitetail deer. The broad tip and tapered jacket of the bullet encourage the rapid expansion of the lead core for quick incapacitation of your quarry.

Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 140 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,100 feet per second. Like other 7mm Remington Magnum loads, these rounds deliver excellent long-range accuracy at the cost of significant recoil. In a hunting context, this is a strong combination because consistent accuracy (along with shooter skill) is key to proper shot placement and a deer hunter typically doesn't get to make follow up shots. Just make sure your rifle has a good pad on it.

These rounds use non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases. Like other Winchester ammo, they are loaded in Oxford, Mississippi, home of the company's ammo production since 2011.
