This 7.7mm Japanese cartridge by Precision Cartridge features a 180 grain soft point boat tail projectile. Because this bullet’s soft core is exposed at its tip, it will deform, expand, and tumble within targets to create a wide and catastrophic wound channel. That makes this round perfect for hunting, especially where the use of hollow point bullets is not permitted. This bullet’s boat tail design means that its tapered base grants it a significantly higher ballistic coefficient, giving it superior resistance against the harmful effects of cross winds, a flatter trajectory, a higher downrange velocity, and more energy delivered upon impact.

Based in Indiana and owned by a former police officer, Precision Cartridge is the Midwest’s leading provider of remanufactured ammunition (although this product uses new production brass). They implement their state of the art manufacturing facility along with the highest quality components at their disposal to produce ammunition for both the law enforcement and commercial markets.
