This is blank ammunition. It has no bullets, so it’s all “bang bang” and no “shooty shooty.”

Looking for a safer approach to training, or a practical movie prop? Then you’ll love this 7.62x51 blank ammunition by Federal! This is authentic M82 ammunition, designed for rifles and machine guns when they’re being used to simulate fire for training exercises or ceremonies. This ammo will function correctly in 308 rifles as well, but do take care that a semi-auto will need a blank-firing adapter in order to cycle blanks.

This ammo has brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers. It’s also packaged in a new military-spec ammo can, so you can safely stash it away for years – or repurpose the can to store other types of ammunition. Its tight-sealing rubber gasket is highly effective at trapping out moisture and dust.

An important word of caution: Blank ammunition is not a toy, and demands to be treated with the same amount of care as regular cartridges. These rounds are loaded with real propellant and will forcefully expel hot gasses out of a rifle’s muzzle when fired. Serious injury and even death may result from misuse.
