We’re sure anyone would have a mighty fine time shooting targets with this ammo. Its 135 grain bullets are light, and accordingly attain zippy muzzle velocities in the ballpark of 3,000 fps. Expect a flat trajectory, as well as noticeably more wind deflection than you would have gotten from a 147+ grain load.
The hollow point bullet (which is manufactured by Sierra) really shines if it hits a varmint or predator, though. Its nose cavity is functional, and its thin copper jacket splits open and fragments apart with relatively little force. The resultant expansion/fragmentation really does a number on game with thin hide.
