Manufactured at the Barnaul plant in Russia, Silver Bear ammo derives its name from the highly polished zinc plated steel casings used. These steel casings feature a zinc plating to prevent corrosion improving the shelf life of these rounds! Additionally, this 7.62x39 ammo features a soft point bullet designed to expand on impact making this a great choice for hunting!

Manufactured in Russia, this product features zinc plated steel-casings and is berdan-primed, non-corrosive, and non-reloadable.

It is both economical and precision manufactured at the Barnaul Machine Plant. The company is currently one of the largest suppliers of cartridges in Russia. It also delivers cartridges regularly to America, Europe, and Asia.

I've used silverbear 125 grain soft point to take several whitetail deer.
No misfires and is very accurate. Seems to be cleaner than any of the other russian ammo.

High grade Russian Ammo. Nice alternative to FMJ for hunting and range use.....best i've used other than the more pricey American and NATO ammo with brass cases.

I wanted some cheaper ammo for my Mini Thinty and a lot of the Berdan Primers did not work.

But Silver bear does not one misfire yet.

silverbear works good in my mini 30. but tulammo wont work the primers are set to deep in the case it wont put them off.

Q: i have a box of MFS 7.62x39 sp 125gr. don't know where i got it. have had it for a long time. what type of fire arm can it be shot from. thank you.

A: Hi Dennis! The 7.62x39 is typically fired in AK-47 rifles, but it's also suitable for the SKS and a few other less popular firearms like the AR-47 and the Ruger American Ranch.

Q: I just purchased a IWI Galil Ace. I'm trying the fiocchi ammo brand 1st. I'm Thinking of Silver Bear or Golden Bear ammo SP as a multi purpose affordable round. Any advice?
