A: Hello Chett! This ammo should function correctly in your Radical AR. I've found several reviews online where shooters say they've experienced no problems running steel cased ammo through their rifles. You will experience a little more carbon fouling in the action than you would have with brass cased ammo, but that's just the tradeoff you make with steel.

A: Tula uses modern explosive components. Their non-corrosive primer doesn't produce corrosive salts that could gradually rust out a firearm, and their propellant is similalry clean burning. You will experience more carbon fouling of the action when you fire steel cased ammo, however. Brass has some springiness to it, so during ignition it can expand to effectively seal the chamber, which separates the action from the barrel. Steel is much less springy than brass, so it allows more propellant residue into the chamber. In addition to being nonreloadable, this is a shortcoming you accept with steel cased ammunition. That all said, for the AK-47, a relatively simple and rugged rifle, steel cased ammo is pretty popular among high volume shooters who don't mind spending more time cleaning to save some money.

A: Hello, Andrew! We do offer an overboxing option when our order volume permits it. We may not at this very moment, as we're experiencing a huge surge in demand in the wake of the pandemic scare. Even if our customer does opt for overboxing, however, we are legally required to put an "ORM-D" label on the package.
