Hailing from the Czech Republic, this 7.62x39 cartridge by Sellier & Bellot sports its caliber’s common weight 124 grain projectile. Sellier & Bellot tailored the bullet’s jacket from copper-zinc alloy to strengthen it and lessen its impact on the riflings, as well as to control the expansion caused by its soft point during penetration. This bullet will widen substantially so that it can distribute the lion’s share of its energy within its target, avoid overpenetrating, and tumble as well to produce an even more exaggerated wound channel. The net result is a perfect hunting round for your AK.

We are used to seeing steel casings and Berdan primers from Sellier & Bellot’s neck of the woods, but this round evinces greater quality with its new production and reloadable brass casing and non-corrosive Boxer primer. Sellier & Bellot’s clean burning propellant makes it a lot easier to clean all of your AK’s moving parts after you’ve finished your hunt, and doesn’t generate corrosive residues that could harm them.
