We don’t get to see AK ammo like this too often in America. This 7.62x39 cartridge by Wolf features a 124 grain hollow point bullet that widens within a soft target. It’s not your everyday hollow point, however -- as an 8M3, its jacket is internally scored to even better facilitate and control expansion and subsequent fragmentation. Couple that kind of deadly terminal performance with over one foot of penetration in bare ballistic gel, and you’ve got a potent solution for self-defense with a Kalashnikov.

Wolf applies their signature PolyFormance coating to each steel cartridge in order to help it feed and extract more smoothly, and seals the neck and primer to keep water infiltration from compromising your rifle’s performance. That primer is a Berdan, however, which along with the round’s steel casing makes this ammo single-use only.
