While these coated steel cases are rust free and smooth to the touch they loaded harshly into my Ruger American Ranch, nowhere near as smoothly as brass cased stuff. But 100 yards away they performed admirably, especially considering the price. Great budget ammo that I was able to hold an easy 1-2 MOA with and I am no professional shooter - but at this price you could train to be!

I see the AK people here find no feeding problems. My AR-15 handles the brass cases and Tulammo steel well but these have a sharp machined edge on the recessed rim that is just enough to catch and hang. A little chamfering on these edges makes feeding just fine though. If they just tumbled the cases at the factory I bet they would be better.

My only small complaint is with price. Haven't shot any from this batch, but plenty in the past....not once didn't go pow....I like all wolf ammo, no problems with .45ACP either. Will continue using Wolf ammo and also will continue using Lucky Gunner....fast, reliable service, and forget buying it cheaper somewhere else....if you MIGHT find it cheaper....the shipping rates will be jacked up, so you will be paying more....One Happy Puppy Here!!!

Used the Wolf 7.62X39- 123grHP poly in my chinese SKS Rifle got
two stovepipes in 120 rds. fired.
Shot fairly consistently accurate with a couple of 1 1/2 inch groups but mostly
3 inch groups at 100 yds. using a 4x scope.
Great value.

Remember this is AK accuracy I'm talking about comrades. This stuff holds well to target (200m/yrd and under & and I'm not talking "match" and Hollywood 0.000001" groups) and, so far, always goes bang when the trigger is pulled. In terms of cost to performance this stuff is great. Have had NO issues with cycling (I'm running it through two Century Arms C39s). Feeds well in poly mags like Tapco and Promag (with steel I recommend using a loader like an Uplula to avoid cracking or chipping the case head, i.e., gas leakage - problems with this ammo in .223 format). The piston system of the AK chews this stuff like there is no tomorrow. Fill up some two liter pop (soda/Coke) bottles and have some fun with this round... better yet... during winter fill them up sit them outside overnight and then have some nice ice targets to hit (for the Bloomberg type nuts: always use proper judgment and safe shooting distances).

Great in WASR 10 AK-47

My AK-47 eats through this stuff. No misfires and no jams. I've got a slide fire stock on my AK and so I burn through a few hundred rounds every time I take it out. At close range, you cant beat the price.

The ammo worked fine, still have plenty however ive already ordered more. I must say LuckyGunner is the only place I even look for ammo online these days. They nearly always have it in stock and even in these times of hysteria they still price the ammo competitively and do not gouge you like some sellers.
Shipped very fast, arrived at my front door, I couldnt be anymore happy with my order!

Q: Is this the sort of hollow point that will expand in soft targets?

A: No sir, I'm afraid not. This bullet might fragment some as it penetrates soft tissue, but it won't produce significant terminal expansion.

Q: Is this the ammo you refer to as having no steel in the bullet? Can they pass a magnet test for indoor range?

Q: Do these cycle well with a Ruger mini 30 ?

I have a shooting buddy with a much newer one and it doesn't do quite as well, but well enough to save the money over brass cased ammo. You will want to try a few boxes and make sure about YOUR rifle. Let me know if I can assist!

A: Wolf manufactures their 7.62x39 ammo exclusively with bullets including a bi-metal jacket. For indoor ranges that require bullets that do not stick to a magnet, PPU (Prvi Partizan) offers a 7.62x39 round featuring a copper jacketed bullet with lead core that does not include any steel elements. PPU's boxer primed brass cases are more expensive than steel, though they offer more flexibility for using your 7.62x39 rifle at ranges that have ammunition restrictions in place. These are usually the most affordable brass/non magnetic 7.62x39 rounds currently available. The following manufacturers also offer their 7.62x39 round in a brass cased round that will not include magnet attracting bullets: -Fiocchi -PMC -Federal (American Eagle) -Winchester
