A: Hi Baber. The Wolf in the gold boxes are part of the Wolf Gold Series of ammo. This is brass cased, boxer primed and reloadable. The black box is the steel case berdan primed and are magnetic which will cause many ranges to disallow their use. I am not sure what you mean by "Vympel" If you like, give me a call at 800-317-9506 and we can talk. Thanks!

A: Hi Logan. For most customers, we can ship directly to your doorstep. Folks in NY and CA must ship to an FFL, and a few states require various documents to be on file before we ship. You can give us a call at 800-317-9506 and we can discuss your state's statutes.

A: Hi Tim,
This will be ok in a bolt gun, however brass cased ammo is always preferable in any bolt action rifle as the steel may stick after firing due to tighter chamber tolerances in bolt action rifles.

A: Hello James,
This ammunition is loaded with a lead core, bi-metal jacketed projectile. Due to the steel content in the jacket of the projectile, this ammunition will not pass any type of magnet test.

A: Hello Mike!
The Wolf WPA ammunition is loaded with a lead core, bi-metal jacketed projectile. The bi-metal jacket is made of copper and steel that is pressed together to make a single jacket material.

A: Hello Thomas,
Yes, these 123gr. FMJ rounds by Wolf in 7.62x39 do often have a bi-metal jacket. For a non-magnetic round, I would suggest a brass cased round.

A: Wolf loads their ammunition with Berdan primed steel cases. Unfortunately these will not be suitable for reloading. The steel used for these rounds will resist the required resizing process during reloading. The Berdan primer pockets will not accept the popular Boxer primed die sets used for reloading.

A: While the dimensions of this ammo may appear similar to the 7.62x51, this 7.62x39 ammo will not fire correctly inside a 308 Win rifle.
Our 7.62x51mm ammo can be located under the 308 ammo section. The 7.62x51 round is the NATO variation of the 308 Win and may be fired safely in a 7.62x51 rifle or 308 rifle.
