A: Thanks for reaching out Anthony! This ammo is made at the Tula Cartridge Plant in Tula, Russia. It is possible that Red Army Standard will not always have their 7.62x39 produced there specifically, but the ammo I just checked has the unmistakable "Tulammo" headstamp.

A: Yes, these rounds are a lead core with a bimetal jacket, they will attract magnets.
