Don’t mistake Fort Scott Munitions’ groundbreaking Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) bullet for a standard FMJ. This 7.62x39 cartridge’s 117 grain lead-free bullet is made of solid spun copper, and it delivers the accuracy and the terminal ballistics you want whether you’re hunting or defending the castle.

The TUI is a match grade bullet, sleek and perfectly balanced, which is capable of sub-MOA groups at ranges up to 100 yards. And without any lead to deposit on grooves and lands, the TUI excels at keeping a rifle accurate in between cleanings.

The TUI lives up to its name. Instead of expanding, the .30 cal bullet tumbles around as it passes through soft tissue in order to inflict a catastrophic wound channel. Because the TUI doesn’t rely on terminal expansion, it avoids overpenetration under circumstances that would have rendered a conventional JHP bullet’s nose cavity inoperable. Just take care: The TUI is not to be fired at hard surfaces, as its monolithic construction does present a heightened risk of a ricochet.

This ammunition is loaded in the great state of Kansas with premium brass cases, non-corrosive Boxer primers and specially formulated clean-burning powder. Perfect if you would fire your AK-47 in self-defense or take your SKS hunting!
