Bought it to shoot with my sks. The bullets shot fairly well, no duds or ejection issues. Ammo is kinda dirty but that's to be expected. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I fired the last round of my 40 round box of Tula 7 62 x39 in my russian sks. The primer pushed the bullet into rifling. And the case still had powder in it. Complete junk ammo. Will never buy again.

I’ve run around 300 rounds of Tula 122g 7.62 x 39 through my WASR-10. Not a single hiccup. Every round has fed, gone bang.
Fine plinking accuracy as various tin cans, plastic liter bottles, and one very surprised golf ball can attest. 70 yards and iron sights; you could hear my shout of glee from across the range.

A little overpriced but worth it. No failures at all but a little dirty. Shooting out of a ruger ranch rifle and saiga AK they are surprisingly accurate.

Fired about 30 rounds before getting angry and leaving the range. Had about 6 to 7 misfired about of a 30 round mag. An issue I've never had with wolf ammo.

Won't buy tula ammo again

I've never had this problem before but lately the ammo I have got from Tula is garbage. I used to love Tula because it was at every store in my area in 7.62x39 and cheap. But lately i have drove 30 mins to buy brown bear and wolf for a similar price because the quality I've got lately from Tula sucks. I used tula in my makarov and it's worked flawlessly but for some reason the 7.62x39 I run through my ak misfire every 2 or 3 rounds and I never I had this problem before with my ak or tula. I know it's tula because once you eject the round you can clearly see where the firing pin struck the primer to fire the cartridge but it didn't fire and I have had zero problems out of the Wolf and brown bear ammunition I have bought recently. So clearly the problem isn't the rifle it was the quality of tula's manufacturing of this ammunition. I will not run this ammunition through any of my guns ever again.

This stuff burns clean enough and operates great in a Sam7SF. 4" groups at 100 yards is the norm. Great value for plinking or training the kids. We've purchased many cases of 1000 and never had any problems.

This ammo is reliable period. its steel case ammo careful storage and it will last. Corrosion issues may exist more in high humidity areas like the Southern USA but that is not a reflection of the ammo, its steel not brass. Brass would be over double the price and then some. The question comes up is the ammo reliable in a must work now situation. The Russians have made and used this ammo successfully in harsh environment ammo issues are in must cases the firearms issues not the ammo. This TulAmmo will work flawless in a CZ527 bolt action all day long will it work all day long in an AK or Ruger or SKS I think it depends more on the firearms reliability not the ammo.

Best Price on This Ammo Anywhere.

The ammo, it came packed well I opted for the extra boxing to ensure the weight did not damage anything during shipping. The boxes are in quantities of 40rds.

The ammo, this is steel ammo not high grade brass. You will be hard pressed to find any ammo made in this caliber made from brass and be under .50 a round. So people using this ammo have to be realistic. This is not reload ammo either. As ammo goes this stuff is pretty reliable I can not recall any failures to fire in either and SKS or AK-47 its shoots all day long and does well.
Bottom line the ammo is a great deal especially at 219.00 but even at the regulars price its not bad and still cheaper then most.

Ammo shot accurately out of my SKS. Although the first round didn't go bang, I ejected it and shot the other nine I had loaded, then loaded the round back in and it went off when I pulled the trigger. The ammo smells like sulfur when shot, really stinky stuff. Not sure if that is par for the course or not, as this is my first 7.62x39 gun.

I have a sam 7R the ammo ran good for what it is. I did have one round that came apart when I ejected a chambered round and the bullet got get stuck between the bolt carrier and the receiver and the powder went everywhere that ended my day. The case did eject. Fast shipping good price I'll be ordering again soon.

it makes noise every time but it's bang-bang-Bang-bang-bank-BANG and so on
the difference in flash is also very apparent.
If I get really bored I'll pull some of the bullets and weigh charges but it's more than ok for practice ammo.

I read all the reviews and looked at the price and talked to my Army son (who'd faced Russian ammo) and decided to buy. Lots and lots of rounds through the AK and never a jam or misfire. I'd say it was a good deal.

There is nothing special about this ammo other than its the go-to ammo for any 7.62x39 collector/enthusiast. Non-corrosive and well packaged it makes perfect for storing and loading.
