Nosler developed their AccuBond Long Range projectile specifically for hunters who like to keep a lot of distance between themselves and their trophies. This 6.5x284 Norma round’s 129 grain bullet can accordingly strike its target at a velocity as low as 1,300 fps and still expand reliably.

This round’s AccuBond LR has a ballistic coefficient of 0.530 (G7 0.267), which means it retains the velocity requisite for terminal expansion until it passes the 1,150 yard checkpoint. The sleek bullet manages such impressive ballistics courtesy of its sharp gray polymer tip, turbulence canceling boat tail, and tangent ogive profile that ensures the ideal seating depth inside the chamber.

The AccuBond LR’s deformation-resistant tip is positioned upon a deep hollow point nose cavity, into which it drives throughout penetration to effect fast and destructive terminal expansion. And if you should find your quarry nearby, you can still count on this bullet’s bonded jacket to remain firmly rooted to its lead core.

Nosler makes use of their own fine brass to load their premier long-distance hunting bullet. The attention they pay to measuring propellant charges takes all the guesswork out of long-range ballistics.
