This 6.5 Grendel cartridge from Remington’s Premier Match line of ammunition doesn’t just drive tacks. It picks tacks up at their home in a shiny limousine and whisks them away to their destination with complimentary champagne!

This round features Barnes’ Match Burner projectile. It is an open tip match, with a balanced lead core that flawlessly conforms to the geometry of its thin-walled copper alloy jacket. The Match Burner’s weight is distributed toward its base for added stability, and the base itself is jacketed and shaped into the angle of a boat tail.

Don’t expect terminal expansion from the Match Burner. Do expect it to exhibit a ballistic coefficient in excess of 0.450, with an accompanying flat trajectory, heightened velocity several hundred yards out, and the heft and stability requisite to hold out against wind drift.

Premier Match ammo is made in America by people who know how to make ammo. Each round’s brass case is selected for its uniform dimensions, chamfered and polished to perfection, and socketed with a sensitive non-corrosive Boxer primer and low residuum propellant. Keep that brass if you’d like to try loading your own Match Burners another day!
